specimens and/or buy some new ones. So- look over your collection and bring minerals,
display cases, tools, books, lapidary equipment, jewelry supplies, or any item of nterest to a
mineral collector. Please be selective and bring only top quality material.
Robert Reid Collection
The family of the late Robert Reid, has generously donated his Mineral Collection to the NHMC.
Items from this well cataloged Collection will be included in our Annual Auction Encore, on June 10, 2024.

ANNUAL AUCTION RULES
The following Rules will be strictly enforced:
- Anyone can attend the
auction, and anyone can submit items for bidding. Shoud we have an
over-abundance
of material submitted, we may give priority to items from club members.
- One can submit up to 8 items.
- One can indicate a minimum bid; if that minimum is not reached, the seller can take the item home again.
- Each item must be accompanied by a slip. See Attachment * – just cut on the lines that separate them.
Each slip used must be fully filled out except for Selling Price.
- Specified minimum bids shall be no less than $1.00 Dollar in value. Any material with a minimum bid which is
not reached, will be returned to the seller. All bids will be in $1.00 Dollar increments.
- For specimens that auction for 25.00 or more Checks may be accepted with proper personal Identification.
All other sales will be cash. Cash is preferred.
- Regular auction sales will apply, with all items going to the highest bidder. Runners will deliver items to the
bidder and make change.
- The club will take 20% of the proceeds accruing to each seller at the conclusion of the auction.
Payouts to sellers occur when the auction is completed. The Club will accept the proceeds from donated
items.
- No one will be allowed to bid on his / or her items submitted for auction.
